Hi, I'm Alexis, a senior software engineer based in Toronto, Canada.

Most recently, I spent almost five years at Meta working on Facebook Reels, across sharing, growth, and content ranking. I led new features from scratch, closed gaps in the signals feeding Meta's recommendation systems, and built AI workflows that catch problems automatically. I also spent a lot of time digging through data to find gaps and opportunities, then worked with the team to turn those into projects that made a real impact.

Before that, over about a decade, I led a small product team at Freelancer.com, helped Ninja Van's logistics APIs survive some brutal peak seasons, and rewrote the core flow that a million-plus contractors used every day at Joist.
